After the UX audit on the current website we started from the logo creation, Brand book and overall ideas for the UX implementation for the new website with 5 stores on different languages. Also we investigated the current customizations and the Magento 2 installation they had at that moment. The Metaltis Team already started the migration process with another development company, but it wasn’t productive. So we had to redone all from the start including the migration scripts and designs.
Our focus were of the product characteristics, and on making it mobile-friendly with refreshing the look overall. Luxinten team made a lot of different integration and customizations with products displaying, user’s account, checkout, payment and shipping methods according to the unic business process of Metaltis. The project become more complex than was agreed at the beginning and took around the year. In addition the design of the product configurator was made for the future development.
